We’re a busy and happy crew who all bring different skills and experience together to make Gone Crabbing a great team business.
Having spent years being an employee Susie is determined that, as an employer, she wants everyone involved in the business to feel both their opinion and their actions are valued. We strive to provide the best quality product for our customers and hope that we achieve outstanding customer service. Equally we entrust our staff to be the face of Gone Crabbing and want them to stay with us on our continued journey.
The bottom line is that we want everyone who is involved in the GC brand to be happy - suppliers, staff and customers. Smiles all round basically!
All of us are happy to deal with any enquiry / problem you may have - so just pick up the phone and we will chat it through with you.
Susie is a Norfolk gal but is now a Cornish convert - her love of the seaside as a child and her knowledge of the tourist market led her to create Gone Crabbing. Susie has just moved to an ancient cottage in coastal Cornwall and lives there with her partner Dicki, her two, not so small children - Georgie and Rory - and their four dogs. Susie loves watersports and skiing (she believes she may have an allergy to all other forms of exercise!) and enjoys gardening followed by an occasional(!) glass of Prosecco with friends.
Dicki was born and bred in Stourbridge, West Midlands. Dicki has 30 years’ retail experience and is our Sales Director and works on the Trade Desk. A keen sportsman - he competes in triathlons and marathons. Last year he became a Norfolk Superhero, has completed the Edinburgh and Cornwall Marathon and will again take part in this year's Norfolk Superhero Challenge - along with many other running challenges. We all sit over our cups of tea and wonder where he gets his energy from! We must not forget also that he is also the very proud father of his two lurchers, Tetley and Mr Pug.
Claire is a Norfolk gal too who is the face of our Gone Crabbing shop having had years of retail experience. Her other big love is horses and when she isnt manning the shop she can be found mucking out, riding and taking her two cheeky terriers - Buttons and Dotty - for long rambles along the Norfolk coast ending up in the local hostelry. She loves skiing, swimming and is trying to love running albeit unsuccessfully :-)
